Six High Courts of the Country to Receive New Chief Justices as Centre Approves SC Collegium’s Recommendation admin, February 3, 2024 The central government has approved the appointment of Chief Justices for the High Courts of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Guwahati, Allahabad, and Meghalaya, based on the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium. Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. Justice Arun Bhansali has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. Justice Vijay Bishnoi has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court. Justice Ritu Bahri has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court. Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Odisha High Court. Justice S. Vaidyanathan has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court. The Supreme Court Collegium, under the leadership of Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, had recommended the appointments of Justice Arun Bhansali, Vijay Bishnoi, and M.M. Shrivastava as Chief Justices on December 28, 2023. The recommendations for Justice S.
