Actor Jacob Elordi from ‘Euphoria’ Allegedly Assaults Reporter in Australia and Faces Police Inquiry: Report

The 26-year-old actor, Jacob Elordi, known for his role in HBO’s ‘Euphoria’, is currently the subject of a police inquiry for allegedly assaulting Joshua Fox, a staff member of KIIS FM. The incident took place outside the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs while Elordi was staying in preparation for the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards.

During the altercation, which arose from a reporter’s questions, both individuals engaged in a physical dispute, though Mr. Fox did not sustain any injuries. The New South Wales Police are investigating the encounter and confirmed that a man was allegedly assaulted outside the hotel.

According to reports, the incident was captured on audio and subsequently shared on-air. In the recording, Mr. Fox is heard approaching Mr. Elordi with an unusual request, after which the situation escalated, eventually leading to the physical altercation.

Mr. Fox described feeling intimidated during the encounter and reported a moment where Elordi became aggressive and physically pushed him against a wall. Nevertheless, Elordi has not yet commented on the matter, and his appearance at the AACTA Awards, where he is nominated for Best Supporting Actor, is now uncertain due to the ongoing investigation.
