With his hard work and experience, he established a fishing industry with the support of government schemes. He now earns an annual profit of nearly 30 lakh rupees from this business and provides employment to 10 people. In 2012, a pond was created under the Meenakshi scheme on his farm, which became the starting point for his employment. Subsequently, he received a grant of 6 lakh 20 thousand rupees under the Prime Minister’s Fisheries Scheme in 2019 and 2021, which he used to expand his business further. During this time, he understood the requirements of fish farming such as water temperature, oxygen levels, ammonia control, diseases, and fish feed. Based on his experiences from 2012 to 2015, he focused on fish farming, which resulted in increased profits. His confidence grew, and in 2015, with a grant of 2.20 lakh rupees under the PM Fisheries Scheme, he built another pond to make his fish farming business more beneficial. In 2021, he established a kiosk with a grant of 5 lakh rupees under the same scheme and is now conducting business with 8-10 species of fish from this kiosk. His business has expanded to the eastern part of the state, reaching districts like Bhind, Datia, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, and Pandhurna. Additionally, fish traders from Seoni, Mandla, and Nagpur are purchasing 8-10 species of fish and prawns from him in bulk. Vedram has also provided employment to 10 fishermen and others as part of this initiative. Although Vedram has only completed the 12th grade, he has never let his education hinder his business. His dedication and hard work in the fishing business have made him a source of inspiration for other young people. Pandevada Fishing Industry
