ED conducts raid on AAP Leader Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Secretary, MP – Action by ED in Jal Board scam: Raids at the residence of Arvind Kejriwal’s private secretary, AAP MP: Sources

The investigation into the alleged irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board contract is being conducted in over 12 premises in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Varanasi, as per the sources. Officials from the central agency, including Bhibhav Kumar, a former member of the Delhi Jal Board, Shalabh Kumar, and others are conducting searches at various premises. These actions are related to the alleged irregularities in the process of awarding the Delhi Jal Board contract.

In connection with this case, retired Chief Engineer Jagdish Kumar Arora and contractor Anil Kumar Agarwal were arrested last week. The special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court extended their custody by five days on Monday. The central agency’s action comes at a time when Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi had promised to make a big revelation regarding the agency.

So far, no recovery has been made, and no evidence has been found. The entire case of the ED is being built on the accused becoming a government witness. One witness said that the ED officials slapped so hard that the eardrum ruptured.

Another witness said, “I was told if you don’t give a statement against the leaders, we will see how your daughter goes to college”. People were coerced into signing false statements through intimidation. Prime Minister Modi had said in the parliament that the policy of zero tolerance against corruption will continue.

Manoj Tiwari said that all agencies are independent and will do their work. The tearful eyes of the Aam Aadmi Party will not work anymore because their two ministers, Satyendra Jain and Manish Sisodia, have been in jail for two years. Just looking good won’t work in the Modi government, whoever does wrong, will be investigated against.
