Anil Vij’s Furious Response to Criticism Over Editing “Modi Ka Pariwar” Line on X

Former Haryana Minister Anil Vij expressed his frustration with BJP leaders and supporters who criticized him for altering the “Modi ka Pariwar” tagline in his bio on X, previously known as Twitter. In a lengthy post on the platform, Vij accused his critics of playing unfairly and suggested they should have allowed him to explain before publicly attacking him. Vij defended his decision by stating that after being dropped from the Haryana cabinet, his X bio indicated his ex-minister status.

He explained that due to a character limit, he had to move the “Modi ka Pariwar” tagline to accommodate the necessary information, which some individuals exploited to criticize him. Vij emphasized his loyalty to the BJP and expressed disappointment that he wasn’t consulted before the public backlash. He mentioned his continued dedication to the party, despite being excluded from the cabinet and the subsequent events.

Following his removal from the cabinet, Vij’s actions caused controversy, including his absence from a legislature party meeting where Nayab Saini was chosen as the Chief Minister. Despite speculation and criticism, Vij reaffirmed his loyalty to the BJP and his commitment to working for the party. Sources from the party indicated that Vij’s disappointment stemmed from not being considered for the top post after Manohar Lal Khattar’s removal.

Vij had been seen as a frontrunner for the Chief Minister role following the BJP’s victory in the state, but Mr Khattar was chosen instead, despite being a first-time MLA. During Khattar’s tenure, Vij was known for his effectiveness and popularity as a minister, earning praise for promptly addressing public complaints.
