US Reacts to Reports of Targeted Pak Killings by India: “We’re Not Going To…

The US has stated that it will not interfere in the issue but instead encourage both sides to avoid escalation. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller emphasized that the government will not interfere in the matter but will urge both parties to avoid escalating tensions and work towards a resolution through dialogue. The Guardian’s report alleged that the Indian intelligence agency RAW had conducted up to 20 assassinations since the Pulwama attack of 2019.

The report, based on evidence supplied by Pakistan and interviews with intelligence officials from both sides of the border, also claimed that Delhi has implemented a policy of targeting those considered hostile to India. Furthermore, it quoted Pakistani officers who accused Indian intelligence sleeper cells established in the UAE of carrying out the killings.
