Ajit Pawar urges to choose Sharad Pawar’s Daughter-In-Law for Baramati seat

Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate, is contesting against her sister-in-law and sitting Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule, the daughter of Sharad Pawar, in the Baramati Lok Sabha seat in Pune district. Sule is the candidate of NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar).

Baramati is the home turf of the Pawar family, and Ajit Pawar is an MLA from this area. At a party workers’ program in Baramati, the deputy CM, who heads the ruling NCP, urged people to vote for Sunetra Pawar.

He highlighted the tradition of supporting the family by recalling past elections where they elected the son, the father, and the daughter. The deputy CM emphasized that voting for Sunetra would maintain this tradition and bring balance.

Ajit Pawar expressed his discontent with family members who did not support him in his previous election campaign and warned his detractors not to provoke him to speak openly about the matter. He also mentioned the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, which will take place in five phases from April 19 to May 20, with polling in Baramati scheduled for May 7.
