Reports of India Targeting and Killing Pakistanis Not Confirmed by US Government

The US has stated that it will not interfere in the issue but will encourage both sides to avoid escalation. Responding to the allegations, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller emphasized that the government will refrain from interfering but will instead promote de-escalation.

He mentioned that the US has been following media reports about the issue and refrained from commenting on the underlying allegations. However, he expressed the government’s stance of encouraging both sides to avoid escalation and seek a resolution through dialogue.

According to a report by The Guardian, the Indian intelligence agency RAW has allegedly carried out up to 20 assassinations since the Pulwama attack of 2019. The report cited evidence from Pakistan and included interviews with intelligence officials from both sides of the border.

The report also claimed that Delhi has implemented a policy of targeting individuals considered hostile to India. Additionally, it quoted Pakistani officers accusing sleeper cells of the Indian intelligence established in the UAE of being involved in the killings.
