MK Stalin twists PM Modi’s “Modi Ki Guarantee” in Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Election 2024 question.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin took a swipe at the Prime Minister’s frequent visits to the southern state, likening them to migratory birds. He criticized the PM’s appearances during election seasons and demanded guarantees for various issues. Stalin highlighted the demands for reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, as well as assurances of employment for two crore young men and women annually. He also criticized the single-window common test and raised concerns about rising fuel prices, among other issues.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the promises made in their manifesto were based on the voices and needs of the people. He also pointed out specific promises, such as reducing petrol and diesel prices, scrapping the Uniform Civil Code, and increasing the reservation for women in Parliament and Assemblies. The DMK-Congress alliance had previously won a majority of seats in the region in the 2019 election, while the BJP performed poorly. The results for the recent election are expected to be declared on June 4.
