PM Modi Urges Urgent Address of India-China Border Situation

He expressed optimism in restoring peace and tranquility through constructive bilateral engagement at diplomatic and military levels. The clashes at the borders resulted in casualties on both sides and prompted high-level diplomatic and military discussions.

PM Modi also touched upon India-Pakistan relations, acknowledging the strain following the 2019 Pulwama attack. He stated India’s commitment to promoting peace, security, and prosperity in the region while advocating for an environment free from terror and violence. When asked about the imprisonment of Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan, he refrained from commenting on the internal matters of the neighboring country.
