According to reports, 12 injured students have been admitted to a local hospital, while two others in critical condition were transferred to a hospital in Rohtak. Police sources revealed that the bus driver, suspected to have been drunk, fled the scene after losing control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with the tree. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the driver’s alleged intoxication, conducting a medical test and discovering that the bus’s fitness certificate had expired six years ago in 2018.
