The team is hopeful that Mayank will regain full fitness before their game against Chennai Super Kings on April 19. LSG coach Langer expressed the desire for Mayank to play in every game possible and indicated that the player is working hard to be ready for the next match despite being unlikely to play in the upcoming matches due to a short turnaround.

Mayank had to leave the field after bowling just one over in the previous game due to a hip issue. The team remains optimistic about his recovery, as an MRI scan revealed only a small swelling. Additionally, Langer provided a fitness update on left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan, who has also been dealing with an injury.
