The incident took place during the night shift and was captured on CCTV in the presence of customers. The footage showed Chetanbhai Patel and his wife heading to the kitchen area before disappearing from view. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant in April 2015, Chetanbhai Patel fled to evade prosecution. Gordon B Johnson, the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office, stated that “The extremely violent nature of the crimes allegedly committed by Bhadreshkumar Patel earned him a place on the FBI’s Top Ten List.” He also emphasized the ongoing efforts of investigators and called for the public’s assistance in apprehending Chetanbhai Patel, stating, “We will never forget, and will not rest until he is located, captured and brought to justice.” Chetanbhai Patel
