US Teacher Arrested for Having Sex with Student in Car

Ms Sawicki, a 37-year-old English teacher at Hamilton High School West in Trenton, was arrested and taken into custody on Monday. She has been accused of sexually assaulting a student at the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area on multiple occasions this year. According to reports, she has been charged with five counts of second-degree sexual assault and five counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

The alleged incident took place in the back seat of the student’s car, as stated in the documents. The teenager involved was described as being “at least 16 but not yet 18.” Ms Sawicki is currently being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution until a detention hearing the following week.

In response to the incident, the school district took immediate action to place Ms Sawicki on administrative leave. They expressed their full cooperation with the prosecutor’s office during the investigation and emphasized their lack of tolerance for actions that harm or could potentially harm students. Principal Brian Smith and Superintendent Scott Rocco of Hamilton Township School District released a statement reaffirming their commitment to professional standards and distancing the school community from the alleged actions.

It was emphasized that there is no indication that the alleged actions took place on school property. Consequently, Ms Sawicki’s profile was removed from the school website’s teacher directory following her arrest. This action was taken despite her previously expressing enjoyment in getting to know the students and helping them strive for their futures during her seven years of work at the school.
