Byju Raveendran to Assume Daily Operations at Byju’s Following CEO Arjun Mohan’s Resignation

Byju Raveendran has taken on the responsibility of managing the firm’s day-to-day operations. As a result, the company has announced a significant restructuring that will consolidate its business into three focused divisions: The Learning App, Online classes and Tuition centres, and Test-prep. This restructuring follows a comprehensive seven-month operational review and cost optimization exercise led by outgoing BYJU’S India CEO Arjun Mohan. Byju Raveendran will now play a more active role in leading the daily operations of the company, marking a new phase for the organization.

On the other hand, Mr. Mohan will transition to an external advisory role, using his expertise in the edTech industry to support the company and its founders during this transformational phase. Over the past four years, Byju Raveendran has primarily concentrated on strategic aspects such as raising capital and driving global expansion. With the new organizational structure and Byju Raveendran’s return as the operational leader, BYJU’S is well-positioned to start its next phase of growth through innovation-led initiatives, including the launch of its new suite of AI-driven products. These products have already garnered positive feedback during the pilot phase.
