Kanhaiya Kumar from Congress vs Manoj Tiwari from BJP in North East Delhi Contest

The party has announced its candidates for several Lok Sabha seats in various states. In Chandni Chowk seat, veteran politician JP Agarwal has been fielded, while youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar will contest from the North East Delhi seat. Kumar will be up against BJP’s Manoj Tiwari, who is the only BJP candidate not replaced in the national capital. For the North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat, the party has named former MP Udit Raj as its candidate.

In Punjab, the party has renominated its sitting MPs Gurjeet Singh Aujla from Amritsar and Amar Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib (SC) Lok Sabha seat. Former MP Dharvir Gandhi, who recently joined the Congress after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, will be contesting from the Patiala Lok Sabha seat. The party has also nominated its All India Kisan wing chief Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu for the Sangrur and Bathinda Lok Sabha seats, respectively. Additionally, the Congress has announced Ujjwal Revti Raman Singh as its candidate from Uttar Pradesh’s Allahabad Lok Sabha seat.

The party has also revealed a list of 75 candidates for the Odisha assembly elections.
