Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress versus Manoj Tiwari of BJP in North East Delhi Contest

The party has made key announcements regarding its candidates for various Lok Sabha seats. In Chandni Chowk, veteran politician JP Agarwal has been selected as the candidate. Meanwhile, youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar will be contesting from the North East Delhi seat, where he will face off against BJP’s Manoj Tiwari, the only BJP candidate not replaced in the national capital.

In addition, the party has named former MP Udit Raj as its candidate for the North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Moving to Punjab, the party has renominated sitting MPs Gurjeet Singh Aujla and Amar Singh from Amritsar and Fatehgarh Sahib (SC) Lok Sabha seat, respectively. The party has also announced the candidature of former MP Dharvir Gandhi for the Patiala Lok Sabha seat, following his recent switch from the Aam Aadmi Party to the Congress.

Furthermore, the party has chosen Sukhpal Singh Khaira as its candidate for the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat and Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu for the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, currently represented by SAD chief’s wife Harsimrat Kaur Badal. In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress has named Ujjwal Revti Raman Singh as its candidate for the Allahabad Lok Sabha seat. The party has also announced a list of 75 candidates for the Odisha assembly elections.
