This comes at a time when Congress is yet to declare its candidates from Amethi or Raebareli, the traditional strongholds of the Nehru-Gandhi family. While there are speculations about Rahul Gandhi contesting from Amethi, Vadra indicated that he will also join politics and emphasized the current atmosphere of change in the country. He assured that his family is diligently involved in this and they will continue to work for the betterment of the country and its people. Vadra also touched upon the possibility of becoming a candidate from Amethi and mentioned that discussions are ongoing nationwide about this. He spoke about the people’s call for him to represent them and expressed his interest in joining politics. However, he emphasized that the decision will be made at the right time and there is no rush currently. During his visit, Vadra accompanied by Pradeep Mathur, enjoyed a darshan at the temple and distributed prasad to the devotees. He stressed the importance of remembering God in times of trouble and condemned the politics of discrimination based on religion. He accused the BJP of practicing politics of discrimination and highlighted that his entire family is secular and against discrimination. Vadra also expressed confidence in the victory of the INDIA bloc and emphasized the need for a secular government in the country. He mentioned that the new alliance is working towards strengthening the country and forming a secular government. Additionally, he acknowledged the hard work of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and their commitment to helping the people and finding solutions to their problems.
