However, there is no official confirmation of this. The viral posts have been debunked, as the photo in question is from 2023 and was previously used in news articles. The platform X, formerly known as Twitter, added a Community Note to clarify that the claims were fake and digitally altered.

It was stated that the actual event involving the pilot was her participation in an air force initiative to airdrop medical supplies in Gaza in December 2023. The intention behind the misinformation was thought to be propaganda related to the conflict between Israel and Iran. The Princess, serving as a first lieutenant in the Royal Jordanian Air Force, was part of the team that airlifted aid to a Gaza hospital.
