Wife Arrested for Pouring Boiling Water On Husband and Pushing Him Off Terrace

The wife, Amrita Rai, suspected her husband, Ashish Kumar Rai, of having an extra-marital affair. This led to a violent incident with the wife and her family members assaulting him. The incident took place at night on April 13 in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, with the man visiting his in-laws at the time.

According to the police, the man was attacked after his wife threw boiling water on him while he was asleep, followed by a physical assault by her family members. The victim, Ashish Rai, recounted how his wife, on the pretense of visiting the washroom, threw the boiling water and then proceeded to physically attack him with the help of her relatives. He also stated that he was then thrown off the terrace, resulting in severe injuries.

As a result of the incident, an FIR has been filed against the wife, who has been arrested. The police are currently investigating the matter further. The victim hails from Balia and has expressed his account of the events that unfolded.
