Woman Arrested for Pouring Boiling Water on Husband and Pushing Him off Terrace

Amrita Rai suspected her husband, Ashish Kumar Rai, of having an extramarital affair. On April 13, in the dead of the night, in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, a woman was arrested for throwing boiling water on her sleeping husband.

She then teamed up with her family members to beat him and push him off the terrace, as reported by the Uttar Pradesh police. The victim, Ashish Rai, had been visiting his in-laws when the attack occurred.

Ashish Rai explained that his wife had thrown hot water on him and her family had beaten him up after confiscating his mobile and motorbike keys. He further stated that his wife’s sister had prepared the boiling water and threw it on him while he was asleep.

The attack resulted in severe injuries, including a broken head, and being pushed off the terrace. Following the incident, an FIR has been filed against the woman and the investigation is ongoing.
