Noida Woman Wardah Khan, 24, Who Resigned from Corporate Job, Ranks in UPSC Top 20 admin, April 16, 2024 Wardah Khan pursued her Bachelors in Commerce (Honours) from the Khalsa College of Delhi University with dreams of success. She was thrilled to discover that she had achieved a top 20 ranking, which she had not even considered possible. Her family was overjoyed at her accomplishment. Living with her mother in Noida’s Sector 82, Ms. Khan developed an interest in geopolitics, history, and polity during her college years. Her inclination towards civil services emerged during a brief corporate job, which left her yearning for a more meaningful and impactful career path. Ms. Khan’s dedicated preparation and online coaching from a private institution for a year contributed to her success in the UPSC exam. She emphasized the importance of mastering basic books like NCERT and Polity by Laxmikant and recommended thorough preparation of syllabus heads for the mains and optional papers.
