Pakistani Woman Seema Haider Summoned Due to 1st Husband’s Noida Court Appearance admin, April 16, 2024 Seema Haider, along with her four minor children, entered India in May of last year. She claims to have married Sachin Meena in Kathmandu, while still being married to her first husband, Ghulam Haider, who resides in Karachi. Ghulam Haider filed a petition in an Indian family court, contesting the validity of Seema’s marriage to Sachin Meena and challenging the religious conversion of their children. Seema has been summoned to appear in court on May 27. Ghulam Haider initially sought help from Ansar Burney, a prominent Pakistani lawyer and human rights activist, to gain custody of his children. Burney, in turn, engaged Ali Momin in India to handle legal proceedings on his behalf. Seema Haider stated in an interview with BBC that she had adopted Hinduism and expressed a refusal to return to Pakistan. She also claimed that her children had converted to Hinduism.
