Tesla has halted the deliveries of its Cybertruck due to an “unexpected delay” in vehicle preparation. Although the cause of the delay has not been disclosed by Tesla, *Engadget* reported that one buyer of the Cybertruck Owners Club stated that the recall was issued over an accelerator problem. Social media videos posted by users have attracted significant attention. Tesla has announced that deliveries are expected to resume by April 20, but the delay may have repercussions on later deliveries.

The Cybertruck, which Tesla began delivering to buyers in November 2023, has encountered various issues after reaching customers. These include problems with visibility, off-roading, the CCS adapter, lower range than expected, and discoloration of the stainless steel body panels. Serious concerns have also been raised, such as brake and steering failures, as pointed out by attorney Matthew Chiarello. Chiarello contacted Elon Musk to report a steering and brake failure that occurred while he was driving with his family.

His post gained significant attention on social media, with over 1.5 million views and over 700 reposts by other users. Another Cybertruck owner uploaded a video on TikTok demonstrating an issue with the accelerator getting wedged in an indent on the floor of the vehicle. These issues have resulted in an unexpected delay in the vehicle preparation. The deliveries are expected to resume by April 20, and further effects of this delay on later deliveries are anticipated.
