UPSC Civil Services 2023 Result: Aditya Srivastava Tops with 1,016 Recommended for Appointment

The UPSC Civil Services Result 2023 has been announced, with Aditya Srivastava securing the top rank, followed by Animesh Pradhan. A total of 1,016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Aditya Srivastava claimed the first position, Animesh Pradhan secured the second place, and Donuru Ananya Reddy clinched the third spot.

The names and roll numbers of the successful candidates have been released by the UPSC, with the status of 355 recommended candidates remaining provisional. The Civil Services (Mains) exam was conducted in a subjective format across two shifts from September 15 to September 24. Each shift lasted three hours and was held in the morning from 9am to 12pm, and in the afternoon from 2pm to 5pm.

The recommended candidates are distributed as follows: 347 from the general category, 116 from the EWS category, 303 from the OBC category, 165 from the SC category, and 86 from the ST category.

In the 2022 examination, Ishita Kishore secured the first rank, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra. Similarly, in the 2021 examination, Shruti Sharma clinched the first rank, preceded by Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla.
