Gujarat Accident: Car Collides with Truck on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway, Resulting in 10 Fatalities

The tragic incident resulted in the loss of all the occupants of a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car, which was en route from Vadodara to Ahmedabad. According to reports, eight individuals lost their lives at the scene of the accident, with two others succumbing to their injuries while being transported to the hospital. The collision occurred in the vicinity of Nadiad, causing significant congestion along the 93-kilometre expressway.

Nadiad MLA Pankaj Desai suggested that a potential technical issue may have caused a truck to halt in the left lane of the expressway, potentially leading to the car’s driver being unable to react in time and colliding with the truck. After the accident, two ambulances and an express highway patrol team were swiftly dispatched to the location to provide assistance.
