Hema Malini, BJP’s Mathura MP, Considers Herself Lord Krishna’s ‘Gopi’

BJP’s Mathura MP Hema Malini shared her perspective on her political career, emphasizing that her intention is not for personal gain or fame. She expressed her devotion to Lord Krishna, referring to herself as a “Gopi of Krishna” and stated that her motivation stems from her desire to serve the people sincerely, believing that this will lead to receiving the blessings of Lord Krishna. Hema Malini expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP president JP Nadda for the opportunity to serve the people of Mathura for the third time. She highlighted the importance of developing the ‘Braj 84 Kos Parikrama’ and her commitment to making it appealing and tourist-friendly, with Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari sanctioning funds for its renovation.

In terms of priorities, Hema Malini aims to focus on the development and beautification of ‘Braj 84 Kos Parikrama’, which she sees as crucial for tourism and employment opportunities for the local community. Additionally, she emphasized the need to address the pollution of the Yamuna river, stating her intention to work towards cleaning the river and making efforts to ensure a clean and pollution-free Yamuna for the people of Mathura. Moreover, Hema Malini acknowledged the support from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi and highlighted the formation of the UP Braj Tirth Vikas Parishad for the development of Mathura. She also outlined her other priorities, including transportation and infrastructure projects, access to clean water, and the establishment of a central university to benefit the youth in the region.
