The Prime Minister emphasized the potential benefits of Annamalai’s dedicated leadership for Coimbatore. Expressing confidence in the candidate’s ability to secure a seat in Parliament, the Prime Minister conveyed the importance of the upcoming election in driving progress and addressing longstanding challenges. He highlighted the improvements in quality of life over the past decade and underscored the need for continued efforts to ensure a better future for all citizens.

The candidates were pleasantly surprised to receive personalized letters in regional languages from the Prime Minister. They expressed their determination to ensure that each voter in their constituency receives this communication. The 2024 Lok Sabha election will be conducted in seven phases, with voting taking place from Friday until June 1.

The final result will be announced on June 4, making it India’s second-longest election after the country’s first post-independence exercise held from October 25, 1951, to February 21, 1952. This year’s election will feature seven voting days, beginning with the first phase on Friday, during which people will cast their votes for 102 constituencies nationwide. The last polling date is June 1, encompassing 57 seats, and all votes will be counted together on June 4.
