In a separate incident, two workers from Punjab were shot dead in Srinagar in February, with a later connection to Pakistan. Condemnations of the attack were made by PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and the National Conference. Mehbooba Mufti expressed her condolences to the victim’s family and condemned the act of violence.
