Additionally, Seoul Incheon secured the third spot and was recognized as the most family-friendly airport in 2024. Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports clinched the fourth and fifth positions. Conversely, US airports failed to make a significant impact in the rankings, with Seattle-Tacoma slipping to 24th place. Europe garnered a strong representation in the top 10, with airports like Paris Charles de Gaulle, Munich, Zurich, and Istanbul maintaining their positions. In other shifts, New York’s JFK fell to 93rd place, while LaGuardia rose to 33rd. Melbourne retained its status as the top-ranked Australian airport, holding steady in 19th place. London Heathrow rose one spot to 21st, and Gatwick climbed seven places to 48th. Notably, Japan’s Okinawa made the most significant leap, moving from 199th to 91st position. In celebrating its tenth year of operations, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Badr Al Meer expressed gratitude for being voted the Best Airport in the World for a third time.
