Arvind Kejriwal’s Diabetes: AAP Alleges “Plan To Kill Arvind Kejriwal In Jail” Amid “Eating Mangoes” Controversy.

The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is facing allegations of a conspiracy to harm him while in jail, according to his party member Atishi. She emphasized that Kejriwal has a long-term battle with severe diabetes, which requires him to take 54 units of insulin daily. Consequently, the court has permitted him to have home-cooked meals and food as prescribed by his doctor to manage his condition. Atishi accused the Bharatiya Janata Party and its affiliate, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), of attempting to damage Kejriwal’s health.

She refuted the ED’s arguments in court, which suggested that consuming mangoes, sweets, and tea with sugar posed a risk to Kejriwal’s life. Atishi emphasized that Kejriwal is allowed to have tea and sweets with a sweetener as prescribed by his doctor. She also highlighted the requirement, as directed by the court, for Kejriwal to have access to toffees and bananas while in ED custody or jail. The ED believes that Kejriwal played a significant role in a policy that has since been scrapped, and was involved in seeking bribes or kickbacks in exchange for liquor licenses.

Despite Kejriwal’s challenge of his arrest in the Supreme Court, the court has declined an early hearing, and he must wait until April 29 for the ED’s reply.
