During the match, the Kings lost their second and third wickets at scores of 13 and 14, respectively. This led to the hosts losing half of their side at a score of 49, with one player being dismissed after scoring 13 runs, and another dismissed after scoring just nine. Despite this, two players were able to put on a partnership of 34 runs before one of them was dismissed after playing a knock of 41 runs from just 25 balls, laced with three maximums and two boundaries.
