Arvind Kejriwal seeks insulin and makes court plea after AAP’s “Plan To Kill” claim. admin, April 19, 2024 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is at the center of a controversy as AAP leader Atishi has alleged a “conspiracy to kill” him. The probe agency’s lawyer mentioned in court that Mr. Kejriwal’s diet, which includes mangoes and sweets, and drinking tea with sugar, is not recommended for diabetics and may have contributed to his health condition. This has led to the opposition of Mr. Kejriwal’s request for a video consult with his regular doctor. Atishi accused the ED of conspiring to harm Mr. Kejriwal by keeping him in jail and highlighted his severe diabetes, along with his need for a specific diet and medication. She also criticized the ED’s claims about Mr. Kejriwal consuming bananas to increase his blood sugar level. She referred to a court order allowing Mr. Kejriwal to have home-cooked food, bottled drinking water, and a supply of toffees while in custody and emphasized that he must always have toffees and bananas with him. The probe agency alleges that the Chief Minister was involved in seeking bribes for liquor licenses, and Mr. Kejriwal has challenged his arrest in the Supreme Court, which has yet to schedule an early hearing. This ongoing legal battle is set to continue until April 29 when the court reconvenes to hear the ED’s reply. Arvind Kejriwal
