Arvind Kejriwal’s Plea for Insulin amid AAP’s “Plan To Kill” Claim and Tihar Jail Incident admin, April 19, 2024 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal faces allegations of a “conspiracy to kill” him, as claimed by AAP leader Atishi. The probe agency’s lawyer stated in the Rouse Avenue Court that Mr. Kejriwal’s health issues are aggravated by his diet, which includes regular consumption of mangoes, sweets, and tea with sugar – all of which are not recommended for diabetics. The lawyer opposed Mr. Kejriwal’s request for a video consultation with his regular doctor, citing concerns about his diet and health status. Atishi emphasized Mr. Kejriwal’s severe diabetic condition and criticized the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for alleging that he consumed bananas to increase his blood sugar level. She highlighted the court’s directive allowing Mr. Kejriwal to have home-cooked food, bottled drinking water, and a supply of toffees in ED custody or jail. The probe agency believes that the Chief Minister was involved in drafting a now-scrapped policy and seeking bribes for liquor licenses. Mr. Kejriwal has challenged his arrest in the Supreme Court, but an early hearing has been refused, and he must wait until April 29 for the ED’s reply. Atishi’s statements reflect the ongoing legal battle and the allegations against Mr. Kejriwal. The situation emphasizes the importance of addressing health concerns and adhering to dietary recommendations, especially for individuals with severe medical conditions like diabetes. Arvind Kejriwal
