According to the police, Tyagi had booked a cab under the name of Lawrence Bishnoi from Galaxy Apartment, the residence of actor Salman Khan, to the Bandra Police Station. The cab driver, upon reaching the Galaxy Apartment, inquired with the watchman about the booking, who then immediately informed the nearby Bandra Police Station. The Bandra Police interrogated the cab driver and traced the booking to Rohit Tyagi, a student from Ghaziabad. Further investigation revealed that Tyagi had made the booking as a prank in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The police filed a case against Tyagi and arrested him in Ghaziabad, bringing him to Mumbai and presenting him in court. The court remanded him to the custody of the Bandra Police for two days.
