He had booked a cab in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi from Galaxy Apartment, the home of actor Salman Khan, to the Bandra Police Station. The cab driver, upon reaching Galaxy Apartment and inquiring about the booking, was informed by the watchman, who then alerted the nearby Bandra Police Station. Following this, the Bandra Police interrogated the cab driver and traced the information about the person who booked the cab online. It was revealed that the person who booked the cab was Rohit Tyagi, a 20-year-old student from Ghaziabad. It was later discovered during the investigation that the accused had booked the cab in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as a prank. The police registered a case against him and subsequently arrested him from Ghaziabad. He was then taken to Mumbai and presented before the court, where he was placed in the custody of the Bandra Police for two days. In a separate incident, Kutch Police arrested two individuals, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal from Bihar, in connection with a firing incident outside Galaxy Apartments, where Salman Khan resides. The accused, who were found to be in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, were subsequently handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Both men were presented before a city court and remanded to the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch until April 25.
