Additionally, Banerjee criticized the ineffective representation of West Bengal’s needs by BJP and Congress MPs, accusing them of neglecting issues such as MGNREGA funds and housing for the poor. She cited examples of TMC MPs being targeted and sent back from Assam, alleging that her party has always stood up against injustices committed by the BJP government. At another rally in Maldaha Dakshin constituency, Banerjee criticized the BJP’s alleged plan to impose the Uniform Civil Code, vowing to oppose it vigorously. She also dismissed the BJP’s goal of winning over 400 seats, expressing confidence that the TMC would perform well in the polls and emphasizing that a party cannot solely rely on central forces to win elections. The speech concluded with a statement asserting the TMC’s resilience against attempts by investigative agencies and the BJP’s reliance on them, confidently stating that the BJP will not return to power in Delhi despite their efforts.
