Nitish Kumar Takes Dig at Lalu Yadav with “Itna Bal Baccha” Comment, Tejashwi Offers Advice

Nitish Kumar made a controversial statement during a poll rally in Bihar, taking a dig at his former ally Lalu Yadav and his family. While not mentioning anyone by name, Kumar’s comments appeared to target Lalu Prasad’s family, including his wife Rabri Devi and their children. In response, Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav’s son, questioned the value of such personal remarks in benefitting the people of Bihar and suggested that election discussions should focus on issues such as education, employment, and migration. Tejashwi Yadav also expressed his surprise at Kumar’s personal remarks and suggested that the people of Bihar will judge the Chief Minister’s statements.

Misa Bharti, Lalu Yadav’s daughter, and RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari also responded to Kumar’s comments, with Tiwari suggesting that Kumar’s statements were driven by nervousness due to a perceived lack of political ground. The election dynamics in Bihar have shifted, with Nitish Kumar’s JDU and the BJP forming an alliance to contest a majority of the state’s seats. The BJP is set to contest 17 seats, the JDU 16 seats, and Chirag Paswan’s LJP will contest on five seats.
