Dhani Ram Mittal: Criminal Who Pretended to be Judge and Released Criminals, Passes Away at 85 admin, April 21, 2024 The man, identified as Mittal, passed away on a Thursday at the age of 85 due to health problems, as reported by the police. With a criminal record that includes over 150 theft cases in Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Rajasthan, Mittal had been incarcerated over 90 times. According to an unnamed senior police officer, he was directly implicated in more than 1,000 cases of theft, cheating, impersonation, and forgery throughout his life. Police sources revealed that Mittal’s criminal activities date back to 1964, when he was first involved in a cheating case. A senior officer from the Delhi police department disclosed that Mittal had a history of stealing cars from the parking lot of the Jhajjar court in Haryana for personal use. Additionally, it was discovered that Mittal posed as a judge in Jhajjar for a brief period, issuing orders for the release of long-serving criminals. Despite being well-educated and obtaining a Honours degree in BSc from Rohtak followed by an LLB from Rajasthan, Mittal engaged in criminal activities. After completing his LLB, he worked as a clerk for various advocates but continued to indulge in car theft and document forgery. He even secured a job as a station master, where he served from 1968 to 1974. He was arrested in 2016 at the age of 77 for stealing a car in Rani Bagh, marking his 95th arrest.
