Dhani Ram Mittal: Fake Judge Who Granted Bail to Criminals Passes Away at 85 admin, April 21, 2024 On Thursday, a man named Mittal passed away at the age of 85 due to health issues, as confirmed by the police. Mittal had a long history of criminal activities, having been implicated in over 150 theft cases across Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Rajasthan. According to a senior police officer, Mittal was directly involved in more than 1,000 cases of theft, cheating, impersonation, and forgery throughout his lifetime. Mittal’s criminal activities date back to 1964 when he was first involved in a case of cheating, and his criminal record continued to accumulate over the years. He even managed to impersonate a judge in Jhajjar and issue orders to release criminals serving long sentences. Despite being well-educated and obtaining a BSc degree with first-class honors from Rohtak, Mittal chose a path of crime. He later pursued an LLB from Rajasthan and worked as a clerk for different advocates. However, he continued to engage in illegal activities, including stealing cars for personal use and forging documents to secure a job as a station master, which he held from 1968 to 1974. In 2016, at the age of 77, Mittal was arrested for stealing a car in Rani Bagh, marking his 95th arrest. He was cremated at Delhi’s Nigambodh Ghat by his son.
