Mr. Yadav, 49, a first-time Chief Minister, is father to a daughter and two sons, one of whom is studying in Bhopal. He has completed his MBBS course and is now doing his MS. Mr. Yadav expressed concerns about his son being disturbed if he were to live in the official environment and emphasized the importance of focusing on studies. The Chief Minister also mentioned that his daughter studied in a hostel during her MBBS course in Bhopal, and that the children are okay with the arrangement. He underlined that his family has a positive approach towards this. When asked if he is being too tough on the family, Mr. Yadav stressed the need to toughen up, expressing the view that focusing only on family could dilute their responsibilities and emphasizing the need to be cautious as one grows.
