Diamonds Worth Crores Found in Mumbai Airport Noodles, Passenger Arrested

Four passengers were arrested after the seizure of more than 6.8 kg of gold valued at Rs 4.44 crore and diamonds of Rs 2.02 crore over the weekend, as stated by a Customs official in a release issued late Monday night. An Indian national, traveling from Mumbai to Bangkok, was intercepted and found smuggling diamonds concealed in packets of noodles inside his trolley bag, leading to his subsequent arrest. In addition to this, 10 Indian nationals were intercepted while traveling from various locations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Riyadh, Muscat, Bangkok, and Singapore. They were found carrying 6.199 kg of gold, valued at Rs 4.04 crore, concealed in various ways such as in the rectum, on the body, and inside their baggage.
