An Indian national, traveling from Mumbai to Bangkok, was intercepted and found smuggling diamonds concealed in packets of noodles inside his trolley bag, leading to his subsequent arrest. In addition to this, 10 Indian nationals were intercepted while traveling from various locations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Riyadh, Muscat, Bangkok, and Singapore. They were found carrying 6.199 kg of gold, valued at Rs 4.04 crore, concealed in various ways such as in the rectum, on the body, and inside their baggage. Three of the individuals were subsequently arrested, as indicated in the release.
