If Congress Wins, They Will Implement Sharia Law: Yogi Adityanath’s Accusation

Yogi Adityanath spoke at an election rally in Amroha, expressing concerns that terrorism and mafia rule would return if votes were cast for the wrong party. He accused the Congress and its allies of betraying the country with false manifestos, citing their intention to implement Sharia law if they were to form a government. Referring to statements by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adityanath alleged that the Congress included the redistribution of people’s property in its manifesto, and criticized their focus on implementing personal laws.

He also accused the Congress of planning to take people’s property and distribute it, urging the audience to consider the implications of allowing the Congress and Samajwadi Party to do so. In his address, Adityanath highlighted a comment made by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2006, expressing concerns about the impact of such policies on various sections of society. The chief minister claimed that terrorism has been eradicated in India during Modi’s tenure, citing the abolishment of Jammu Kashmir’s Article 370.

He asserted that Pakistan fears the consequences of any terrorist incidents in India and stressed the need to prevent a resurgence of terrorism and mafia rule through voting for the BJP and its allies. Adityanath also criticized the Congress and its leaders, accusing them of dynastic politics and lack of vision. He urged the audience to vote for the NDA candidate and warned of the potential risks if votes were cast for the wrong party.

The event also saw the presence of Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhury, and Amroha and Baghpat were scheduled for polls in the second phase on April 26.
