In her speech, she criticized the Congress, BJP, and Samajwadi Party (SP) on the issue of reservation. She alleged that the SP does not want people from SC/ST communities to benefit from quota benefits. Mayawati promised that her party, if voted to power, would work to fulfill the demands and address the problems of the region. She assured the crowd that if her party came to power, positive steps would be taken to establish an Allahabad High Court bench in Meerut, similar to the one in Lucknow. Mayawati also mentioned her party’s support for the western region to become a separate state and criticized the central government for not acting on a resolution passed by the state assembly. Mayawati accused the SP of failing to fill government job quotas meant for Dalits, adivasis, and OBCs. She also criticized the SP for allegedly ending reservation in promotions for SCs/STs and accused them of not wanting these communities to benefit from reservation. She also highlighted instances where the SP allegedly obstructed bills related to reservation. She also criticized the casteist and pro-capitalist thinking and policies of the BJP and Congress, claiming that these policies have not led to the real development and upliftment of the poor, Dalits, adivasis, and other minorities. Mayawati advised the voters to prevent the Congress, BJP, and their supporting parties from coming to power in the Lok Sabha elections. She warned of the alleged “saam, daam, dand, bhed” policies adopted by these parties to gain power. Regarding the upcoming elections in Meerut, she mentioned that her party had nominated Dervrat Tyagi and urged voters to support him.
