Revanth Reddy, CM of Telangana, Makes Strange Attack on KCR While Promising Loan Waiver

Revanth Reddy has been making bold statements against KCR, pledging to send him to jail and invoking bizarre scenarios. In one instance, he promised to waive farmer loans by August 15, even if KCR were to die by hanging in his farmhouse. This declaration was made during a meeting in Revanth Reddy’s Kodangal assembly constituency, located within his native Mahbubnagar constituency.

Meanwhile, KCR has been touring drought-affected areas, assuring farmers that conditions were better during his tenure as Chief Minister, with ample water and bountiful harvests. Revanth Reddy, on the other hand, has been vocal about his pledge to waive Rs 2 lakh loans of farmers by August 15, with a recent challenge questioning whether KCR would disband his party if this promise is fulfilled. Notably, Revanth Reddy has made previous references to hanging KCR, alleging their involvement in real estate corruption, and even expressing intentions to send KCR to jail while proposing to build a residence for him.

Revanth Reddy’s history with KCR dates back to 2015, when, as a TDP member, he was embroiled in a cash-for-votes scandal and subsequently vowed revenge upon his release from jail.
