Sanju Samson Supported for India Captaincy After Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya Snubbed

Harbhajan Singh has been tipped to become India’s full-time white-ball captain after Rohit Sharma. He expressed his opinion on Twitter, stating that Sanju Samson should be included in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup and groomed as the next T20 captain for India after Rohit.

He also praised Yashasvi Jaiswal’s performance, emphasizing that form is temporary, but class is permanent. This was tweeted after Rajasthan Royals’ 9-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians.

Samson has been in great form for the Royals in the IPL 2024 season and has led the franchise to the top of the standings after 8 games. He is the second-highest run-scorer for his team in the current season, accumulating 314 runs from 8 games at an average of 62.80 and a strike-rate of 152.42.

In comparison, Hardik Pandya has not performed well in the season so far as a batter, bowler, or captain.
