Ukraine to Receive Biggest Military Aid Package from UK: Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukrainian President Zelensky recently announced that a package will be delivered containing Storm Shadow and other types of missiles, along with hundreds of armoured vehicles, watercraft, and ammunition. He made this statement on Telegram following a phone conversation with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Zelensky also mentioned that the discussion included bilateral defence cooperation, particularly focusing on maritime and long-range capabilities, as reported by Xinhua news agency. The United Kingdom has been a major contributor to Ukraine, with a commitment of nearly 12 billion pounds in support since February 2022.

Out of this, 7.1 billion pounds are allocated for military assistance, according to the British Parliament. This support is indicative of the significant aid provided by the UK to Ukraine.
