BJP Leader from Minority Morcha Criticizes PM Narendra Modi, Faces Expulsion

Bikaner BJP Minority Morcha district president Usman Ghani was expelled from the party after making controversial remarks during a news channel interview in New Delhi. In the interview, Ghani predicted that the BJP would lose three to four Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan and criticized Prime Minister Modi’s comments about Muslims during election rallies in the state. Additionally, Ghani highlighted that the Jat community in the state was upset with the BJP and had voted against the party in certain constituencies.

After a video of Ghani’s interview surfaced on social media, BJP state disciplinary committee chairman Onkar Singh Lakhawat accused Ghani of attempting to tarnish the party’s image in the media. In response, Lakhawat announced that the party had expelled Ghani from its primary membership for six years, citing a breach of discipline. The decision to expel Ghani was made as Bikaner Lok Sabha seat went to polls in the first phase on April 19.

Meanwhile, during a rally in Banswara, PM Modi insinuated that if the Congress were to come to power, it would redistribute wealth to Muslims and provide resources to “infiltrators” and families with more children.
