Congress Chief’s Plea: Attend My Funeral Even If You Do Not Vote for Us

At a poll rally in Afzalpur, the 81-year-old leader spoke passionately about the upcoming elections in Kalaburagi district. He urged people to vote for the Congress candidate, emphasizing that their support would signify a place for him in Kalaburagi.

The Congress has fielded Kharge’s son-in-law, Radhakrishna Doddamani, as their candidate in Kalaburagi, competing against BJP’s sitting MP Umesh Jadhav. Kharge expressed his concern that not voting for the Congress candidate would suggest a lack of support for him in the region.

He urged people to exercise their voting rights, emphasizing that their vote would indicate their support for him and the work he has done for Kalaburagi. Mr. Kharge also stated his determination to continue in politics and fight against the ideologies of the BJP and RSS until his last breath.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of adhering to one’s principles and not retiring from them. Addressing Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was also present at the rally, Mr. Kharge reiterated the importance of persevering in politics to counter the ideologies of the BJP and RSS.
