UP Murder and Wedding: Wife Allegedly Has Husband Killed Over TV Gift to Sister

Chandra Prakash Mishra was tragically beaten to death by his wife’s family in a village near Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki. The incident stemmed from a disagreement between Chandra Prakash and his wife, Chabi, over his intention to gift a gold ring and a television to his sister for her upcoming wedding. Chabi was unhappy with this plan, leading to a heated argument between the couple. In response, Chabi called her brothers to “teach Chandra Prakash a lesson.”

Her brothers then proceeded to beat Chandra Prakash with sticks for about an hour. Despite his family’s efforts to get him medical help, Chandra Prakash succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. As a result of this tragic incident, five people, including Chabi and her brothers, have been arrested by the police, and a case has been filed. The authorities have assured that further investigation is ongoing.
